Vintage Hand Embroidered Three Dimensional
Floral Silk Handkerchief

Three dimensional hand embroidered flowers and leaves grace this feminine silk hanky. The scalloped edges are hand bound with pink silk floss. The flowers are made by first embroidering the pattern onto the silk and then adding two more cut-out, embroidered flower heads on top. The leaves have only one additional layer. In the other three corners are hand embroidered butterflies.

Though this is unused there is one small brown triangle of soil to the right side of the flower motifs. Otherwise, excellent.

Measures 13.5" square.
