Early 20th Century Nine Patch Variation Quilt

A wonderfully executed quilt with very heavy and fine all over quilting. Each block measures 3 1/4" square, with each piece being just over 1" square. Quilted with 10 stitches per inch in a grid pattern in the solid blocks with a simpler X design in the 9 Patch. This quilt dates to circa 1900. It is backed with an off white flannel and has probably not been used or washed as it still retains the pencil lines used to mark the quilting pattern.

There are several faint age stains which do not detract from the attractiveness of this quilt.

Measures 76" by 82".
