A petite design by Karen Stark for Harvey Berin executed in a mauve pink organdy with lace, embroidery and flocked floral appliques circa 1950s. A very soft and feminine style that would be just right for an afternoon tea or garden party. Lined in pink silk crepe with boning in the front and back of the bodice and back closure with metal zipper. Hooks and eyes at the neckline. The skirt is not overly full but has a layer of plain organdy between the lining an outer skirt.
The overall condition is very good with minor fraying of the embroidery floss in isolated areas that are noticed only on close inspection. There is also a very faint crescent of discoloration just below the right armscye, otherwise free from stains. No odors, rips or repairs.
