1930's 40's Peck & Peck Collegiate Classic
Three Piece Wool Suit

This quintessential three piece suit would have been a must for many a collegiate coed. A classic navy blazer is complimented perfectly by the plaid skirt and the plaid to navy reversible cape.

The jacket is fully lined and labeled Peck & Peck, New York, a store known for quality women fashions. Buttons are covered in the plaid fabric with the false pocket flaps also being lined in the fabric. The skirt is full and cut on the bias with matching seams. Side closure with metal zipper and a single button at the waist band. The cape is constructed with shaped shoulder to fit closely in the box cape style that was so popular in the late 1930s and 40s. It reverses from solid navy to the plaid with no closure.

All three pieces are in excellent condition with the only noted flaw being one tiny fray on the edge of the plaid lining the right pocket flap. Barely noticeable except on very close inspection.
