Inspired Edwardian Straw Hat with Cabbage Roses

This spectacular spring hat of pink straw is trimmed with huge cabbage roses, leaves and black velvet ribbons. Circa 1900 - 1910. The cluster of three roses at the back are absolutely gorgeous! Inside the turned up brim are flocked leaves and buds with black velvet ribbons adding contrast to the crown and the layers of the brim. The coronet is also lined with black velvet.

The off white silk lining does have some small age spots scattered throughout, but is strong and just needs to be re gathered at the crown. Otherwise the hat is in excellent condition!
