This wonderful reference book on the history of mannequins is very difficult to find. It is full of black and white as well as full color photos of period mannequins from the late Victorian through the 1970s. The work of Pierre Imans, Siegel and Stockman and many other mannequin makers are featured wearing the clothing of Lanvin, Poiret and many other period couturiers making it a great clothing reference as well.
This is the first English edition published in 1982. It is a library discard in good condition with the dust jacket being fair. 350 pages.
