Antique Thousand Pyramids Quilt
Alternating rows of solid turkey red fabric and pieced pyramids in fabulous early fabrics. The backing is great too in a cheddar/olive and brown/burgundy stripe. There are less than a dozen pyramids that have some tendering or deterioration of the fabric, mainly the same brown fabric which is pictured. These would be relatively easy to replace for someone who has appropriate scraps, or they could be stabilized with netting. There are also 3 to 4 small spots that look like they may have been caused by white paint which was wiped of quickly. The largest of the spots may be about 1/2", they do not detract from the overall beauty of this quilt. Quilted in a brown thread with 5 - 6 stitches per inch in an all over diamond pattern.
Measures 71" by 86".
