1960s Hooded Leather Coat by Bonnie Cashin with Kiss-Lock Pocket

You probably know Bonnie Cashin for the purses she designed for Coach as well as her clothing for Sills & Co. In this vintage fleece lined, hooded leather coat for Sills, Cashin combined the best of both worlds and included an interior pocket with a kiss lock closure very like those that she designed for Coach in the early 1960s and in fact the closure looks nearly identical to those found on her purses.

The coat has a front closure at the neckline utilizing leather ties attached at the sides. The lined hood can also be worn open as a wide shawl collar. You will find large book pockets on the front of the coat.

The overall condition is very good with a few minor scratches on the leather. All in all a very clean and wearable designer coat!
